Hi, I'm Lee Smith, and i've been an alcoholic now for...
(oh, sorry, wrong group...eeeep )

Start again...just kidding. ;)

No, really i am going to start again.

My name Is Lee Smith, and i'm a musician, media mogul, social observer and multimedia artist. Basically, a trainee grumpy old man.

Essentially, my official title is "jobseeker". But there is only one person qualified to be me....and I can't afford to pay myself right now. But i'm not money driven....umm...

anyway, i volunteer a lot, so i'm not a bum. I volunteer for the British Red Cross as a 1st aider, and with events, as and when. The latest is Worcester Music Festival 09.

Stay tuned, lovelies.

what would be really useful to you and everyone else here, is if i were able to autofeed notes, events and other stuff from other sub-portals, like Facebook and such like.

It would be a great labour saving device for me, as i get invites to events on a daily basis, and if i were able to use the "share" link on Facebook to this location, it would definately draw more attention to this site, and in turn would help me to help you to help me to help you to help me to help you....etc. :)

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, i will do my best to keep y'all abreast.

Flyers, info and such like from Worcester Music Festival (not til July - August, so plenty of time!) will be produced, as and when they happen.

What i can tell you is there are over 30 people involved, 15 of them on the committee, and at least 5 of them are major worcester benefactors - biiiig movers and shakers.

Also there are over 20 venues involved, this year with an added "fringe" scheme to draw in the venues in the suburbs of Worcester, such as Warndon and Dines Green.

Stay tuned people - I will build a dedicated subject with regular bulletins in about a month. Still a lot to do! This is the first year i have been involved, and with me i am bringing an awful lot of contacts and experience from all over the UK. But i am just one of 15!

If anyone has an act from the Worcestershire district that has a wish to play, please contact me either here, or at fatalfloor@hotmail.co.uk, or mutmeista@hotmail.com

right, a bit of bizarre news...

I am no longer in the worcester music festival organisers group, as they decided that my charitable actions were too militant (description used - "protest"), and they suspended me for it.

So i won't be posting any more ads for them. why should I?

I will, however, be still participating as a musician on the 23rd of August at the Horn and Trumpet in Angel Place, Worcester. And that is a WMF event.

Even so, i am still pretty active in the music and arts department. so will still be interested to see if that link idea works. ;)
